2.BLOCK DESCRIPTION

 

Figure 2.1: Block description  

Figure 2.1 describes the 3 main components of RCUBE.

• HSL : the BULL High Speed Serial Link includes the serializer / deserializer blocks and an impedance adaptator ZC.
• SMI : the Serial Macrocell Interface contains the serial link boot protocol and the character encoding/decoding.
• R3P : This is the router core with parallel ports (one character wide).
