on parallel port

An example is shown on figure 7.1. A message of more than 64 characters is written into parallel port 0 (datain0[8:0]). The routing tables are loaded in order to route the message through several links configured in serial loop back mode and having it available on the parallel port 0 output.
Two pulses have been applied on fccreceived0 giving port 0 an emission credit of two flits (64 characters). When port 0 transmits characters, the signal sendata0 is high. When 64 characters have been sent, port 0 waits for another emission credit. The remainder of the message is emitted only when another pulse occurs on fccreceived0.
Port 0 pulses the signal sendfcc0, for one ckin clock cycle, each time 32 characters have been routed. This informs the emitter that it can send another flit to port 0.
