Parity Error

The parity of an incoming character is checked. When a parity error occurs, the character is written in the asynchronous fifo with a parity flag set to '0'. When the character is read from the input fifo, the packet is cut, the faulty character is replaced by an EEP character and the output link is deallocated becoming available for another request. The link controller reads the content of the input fifo until it find an EP character in order to discard the rest of the incoming packet.
